The main aim of the GLOSSA II project will be to train language teachers on the non-formal online teaching of the Greek language. In order to achieve this main goal, the project is going to develop a methodology for online tutoring and is going to organize practice based tutor training on the basis of existing material of the GLOSSA project and new material that is going to be developed for the B1 level.

The steps of the project are going to be the following:

  • Development of a methodology for online non formal tutoring on the basis of the GLOSSA experience
  • Development of materials for tutor training

Tutor Training in 3 phases:

1) Face to face: Organization of blended learning teacher training on the basis of this methodology. In one project meeting, the participants will participate in a face to face workshop

2) Online. Online seminars and observation of real online non formal courses

3) Practical phase: New online material is going to be developed (by the project partners) for the B2 level of the Greek language on the basis of the GLOSSA paradigm. Students are going to be recruited and the B2 online courses will be tutored by the trainee teachers under the supervision of the experienced teachers

  • Development, as supportive material, of a database for online resources for the Greek language (B2- C2 level)
  • Finalization of the methodology and translation in order to be available also to language teachers of other languages
